Senior Product Manager at Signal

Signal is looking for a Product Manager to lead the conceptual and technical development of marketing technology product initiatives from beginning to end.

Experience in the adtech or programmatic media space -- with a solid understanding of DMPs, segmentation or media activation -- is a must.

As a future Signalite, you see problems from a user’s point of view, and have worked closely with a client to understand their long-term goals and processes. You have a knack for getting everything in writing and the ability to engage with others while doing so. You’re tenacious as they come but you’re a pretty nice person on top of it all.

The neat stuff you’ll be doing:

  • Lead ideation, technical development and launch of Signal products and capabilities.
  • Establish a shared vision across Signal to build consensus on priorities. Define product requirements, scope and backlog.
  • Turn disjointed customer insights and needs into a coherent strategy. Use data to validate that strategy.
  • Initiate and prioritize projects with an amazing development team, track product development, and develop product launch plans.
  • Sell products to partners and customers as they build massive-scale adoption.
  • Represent product capabilities internally as well as to partners and other stakeholders.
  • Work in our Chicago office and experience life at a high-growth marketing tech company.


 

What we need from you:

  • You come to us with 3 - 7 years of product management experience
  • You have worked in ad tech or programmatic media space and have a solid understanding of DMPs, segmentation, and media activation, or a solid understanding of analytics, reporting and/or measurement
  • Full life-cycle experience. You’ve done it all from product concept to development, go-to market and handling scale/growth.
  • Phenomenal communication skills. You know how to give/receive good news, bad news, suggestions and feedback. You are adept at communicating technical ideas to non-technical people and effortlessly translate business problems into technical solutions.
  • You are really excited by rapid iteration, testing and change.
  • You value collaboration and organizational culture in your next role.
  • Experience as a product owner on an Agile team. You know how to writer user stories and can operate with ease in Jira.
  • Keen sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize problems, analyze and resolve issues.
  • BA/BS
