Ad Campaign Manager
Morningstar is looking for an Advertising Campaign Manager to ensure the success of online campaigns from initial implementation to final delivery. The campaign manager will be responsible for all aspects of ad campaign delivery, optimization, and reporting.
This is an integral position within a fast-paced business. It requires detail-oriented, self-motivation, enthusiasm, resilience and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. The position also requires an analytical, logical thinker and a great problem solver. This position is based in our Chicago office.
+ Own and manage ad campaigns, including ad trafficking, quality assurance, performance monitoring and optimization, campaign asset troubleshooting, reporting, etc.
+ Use best practices to track, measure, and analyze campaign and flight activities.
+ Resolve delivery and performance problems.
+ Setup and test ad creative to run on the web, mobile devices, and e-mail platforms.
+ Troubleshoot campaign issues including errors in ad serving, 3rd party discrepancies, optimization issues, conversion metrics, reporting issues, etc.
+ Monitor campaigns throughout their lifecycle and communicate with Client Account Manager and clients on issues and status.
+ Provide reporting to Ad Sales team and clients.
+ Work closely with Client Account Managers to complete proposals.
+ Execute change requests and revisions to ad campaigns.
+ Follow ad operations workflow and suggest enhancements to the process.
+ Assist ad server configuration for creative templates, tags, targets and products.
+ Assist ad integration to websites, including setting up testing flights, QA’ing and providing ad specs.
+ Coordinate and communicate across multiple teams to maximize revenue and campaign optimization strategies
+ A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
+ Three or more years of ad scheduling experience required.
+ IAB ad operations certification preferred
+ Strong technical understanding of ad tag, 3rd party ad serving tools, and reporting
+ Familiar with ad technology like native ad, rich media ad, VAST, VPAID, e-newsletter ad, viewability, and etc
+ Preferred experience with one or more Internet ad server for Publishers (e.g., SAS IA, Atlas Solutions, DFP, Adtech, OpenX, Open Ad Stream 24x7, AdZerk).
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel

+ Familiarity with developer tools such as Firebug, Fiddler, Chrome DevTools, IE Developer Tools, etc.
