Ad Sales Intern
The Role: This role offers a unique opportunity to work on Morningstar.com, our flagship website that provides independent analysis, articles, investing tools, and education for investors of all levels of expertise. The Operations Intern is a key member of our advertising sales team. This is a paid internship that requires 20-25 hours per week during the school year with the option of increased hours during school breaks. + Create on-demand site and e-newsletter performance reports.
+ Generate weekly and monthly campaign, e-mail, and site performance reports.
+ Report email performance from email systems to the ad sales team.
+ Manage monthly consolidated pacing sheet and video pre-roll completion report.
+ Assist Ad Operations team with scheduling ad campaigns to the ad system.
+ Create proposals for upcoming campaigns and conferences in the ad system.
+ Create and update dedicated and e-Newsletter email calendar.
+ Create HTML email creative.
+ Provide clients with screenshot decks for newly deployed creatives.
+ Provide any assistance to Relationship Managers and Sales Directors.
+ Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program throughout the internship.
+ Creative, detail-oriented person with an enthusiasm for advertising.
+ Self-motivated and flexible self-starter who excels at taking the initiative.
+ Professional attitude.
+ Experience managing projects is helpful.
+ Strong communication, customer service, and organization skills.
+ Interest in learning new skills; interest in investing and technology is a plus.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Database, and PowerPoint.
