HR Generalist

Milyli is looking for an HR Generalist to join the growing Operations team!

The HR Generalist will provide our employees with support to guide them through their experience at Milyli. Our ideal candidate will have 4-6 years experience encompassing multiple areas across the HR function. This means the ideal candidate will have varying levels of experience across benefits administration, payroll, recruiting and HR administration. You will be an advocate for Milyli’s employees, so someone personable with the highest form of professionalism is the ideal fit.

 

Tell me about the job.

Milyli’s HR Generalist will report directly to the Director of Finance who oversees the Operations department. You have the opportunity to impact the entire HR function of Milyli. This will include contributing to Milyli’s recruiting efforts and HR administration, which entails processing payroll and administering employee benefits, leading the performance review cycles, executing onboarding/offboarding, and overseeing other employee/HR issues as they arise. Additionally, you will be a key member of the Operations department and have the opportunity to help with employee morale/culture initiatives and other operational objectives.

  • Experience and acumen in multiple HR facets including recruiting, HR administration, employee benefits and payroll (and an aspiration to do it all)

  • Familiarity with HR processes and a desire to improve ours

  • An outgoing personality and ability to engage with employees across the company

  • Basic knowledge of Google Drive applications and Microsoft Office

 

What will I be doing?:

  • Recruiting:

    • Advertising open positions

    • Receiving, screening, and organizing incoming resumes

    • Conducting first round interviews

    • Scheduling second and third round interviews

    • Following the Milyli Hiring Plan Process throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle

  • HR Administration

    • Ensuring our HRIS is accurate and up to date at all times

    • Processing semi-monthly payroll using our HRIS

    • Onboarding new employees

    • Administering employee benefits

    • Ensuring employee performance review process is being executed

    • Helping our employees as HR questions and needs arise

  • Operations

    • Collaborating with and contributing to the Ops team (employee/culture initiatives, office improvements, company events, etc)

 

What else?

  • This is a full-time position.

  • There is minimal travel required for this position.

  • You must be able to legally work in the U.S.
