We’re looking for a part-time billing specialist that can manage quote to cash (invoicing, collection). The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and aptitude for accuracy as well as enjoy collaborating with customers and sales team members.
The role will initially focus on the billing and AR functions and eventually take on more responsibilities within the broader finance organization. This is a part-time 3 month project with the opportunity to extend.
-Own and manage the billing process.
-Work closely with the Sales team on various billing related issues.
-Assist in cross-functional accounting activities as needed.
-Resolving customer inquiries in an accurate, timely manner.
-Apply cash receipts for customer payments and reconcile to monthly bank statements.
-Proactively monitor aging reports, following up on delinquent accounts and managing AR collections.
-Identify process and system improvements to streamline the revenue cycle.
-Provide sales and billing reports to upper management as needed.
-Communicate process improvements by routinely and frequently updating our finance handbook.
-Ability to take on side projects related to internal initiatives.
-Experience using QuickBooks, Xero, or similar systems
-Experience billing in a high-volume environment
-Superior attention to detail
-Excellent computer skills, self-starter in picking up new and complex systems
-Strong knowledge of Google Apps (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, etc)
-Bonus points: experience using Bill.com
