State of the Black Tech Ecosystem 2018
Black Tech Mecca has announced State of the Black Tech Ecosystem 2018 (The SBTE18), a national tech conference that aims to elevate powerful perspectives fueling the development of today’s Black tech ecosystems in communities across the country. Sponsored by Google, NBC Comcast, and Wintrust to name a few, SBTE18 will be held in Chicago, IL kicking off Monday, June 25, 2018 - June 29, 2018.
This year’s summit kicks off with a Talent Showcase to connect professionals (interested) in tech with companies in search of entry-level and mid-management candidates seeking the next step in their careers or making a shift to the tech industry. The Talent Showcase will provide our participants with opportunities to engage with potential employers, skills development resources they can engage in the city, and professional branding assistance to help improve their resumes and online profiles. Monday's events will take place at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Herman Hall Conference Center, Chicago, IL 60619.
SBTE18 will also host more than 20 distinguished panelists and speakers for its ACE Talks series, including business leaders, investors, media professionals, policymakers.
